Felicia is an educator, child care provider and mother. She has dedicated her life to providing children with learning environments that affirm the whole child, promote curiosity and facilitate fun. For the past fifteen years, Felicia has managed a homeschool, where she had fourteen children in her care from toddlers to elementary. Felicia was responsible for loving, caring and encouraging children providing tools to helping children recognize their own potential, discover new educational goals, and explore new concepts in the way they learn. One of her proudest moments was providing toddlers with the gift of knowledge, understanding phonics, letter recognition and word pronunciation. These children had the ability to understand phonics and learn the technique of reading. Felicia has also served as a tutor, working with students to help improve literacy. Felicia worked at the San Diego County Child Protective Services for ten years, helping children in critical moments. Felicia returned to school receiving her Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Development at Point Loma Nazarene University.

These children were equipped with counting skills were well equipped with the tools and techniques of counting up to one hundred without missing any numbers.
Felicia has also served as a tutor, working with students to help improve literacy. Felicia worked at the San Diego County Child Protective Services for ten years, helping children in critical moments. Felicia returned to school receiving her Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Development at Point Loma Nazarene University. Following graduation, she plans to create a preschool to support every child’s strengths. It is Felicia’s goal to focus on the whole child by promoting creativity, perception, cognition and organization. Felicia believes that when children learn the value of their own learning abilities, their skills grow and they realize their natural talents. The values and skill that Felicia has tried to develop in other’s children are the same skills that
she has instilled in her own children. Felicia is the proud mother of four children, who are graduates of Stanford University, UC Santa Barbara, UC Berkeley and University of
Washington.
